Cohiba – The name of the success
The term Cohiba was the name coined by the Taíno people, who were native to the island of Cuba, for the rolled tobacco leaves they smoked. Cohiba was therefore the first name used for tobacco. It was the first brand created after the Cuban Revolution in 1966, and for many years they were reserved as gifts for heads of state and diplomats visiting the island and for Fidel Castro’s own consumption.
CHARACTERISTICS
Cohiba cigars are sophisticated, exclusive, luxurious and fashionable. They are made from an exclusive selection of tobacco leaves from the five best plantations in the Vuelta Abajo region, a blend that gives them a unique aroma and flavour.
